tha west needs to bring out and promote its independent artists, thats where tha REAL talent is these dayz. look at all of the bay area/northern cali artists, they got like tha best shit from tha west coast droppin, and get no damn support. even E-40, he's got a major distribution, and is still independent.

Snoop, Dre, and Cube need to retire from music and become CEO's.  I'm glad Cube has moved on from rap to the big screen, but Snoop and Dre need to hang up the mic and focus on the business side of things.  Right now, the west coast needs new artists or long time underground artists to take over.  There's a lot of west coast talent right now that could blow up, however won't get any respect from the public because of Snoop and Dre.  I know many of you will hate on me for sayin this, but Dre needs to retire from producing.  The west coast needs a new sound.  Many people hate on the West coast gangsta rap scene because it's the same shit they've heard for the past 10 years.  the new breed of west coast artists, ones who can rip a mic in addition to turnin out a party, needs to come out.  I'm tired of hearin bout Snoop, Dre, n Cube.  

Xzibit, Crooked I, Ras Kass, Roscoe, E-White, Soopafly, Eastwood, Spider Loc, Shade Sheist, Knoc-Turn'al, Techniec, Kurupt (he's still fairly young), Chico and Coolwadda, Baby S, Bad Azz, and Mr. Short Khop need to step up and push Snoop and Dre into retirement, or else it'll be another 10 years of the same old "Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre rule the west, everyone else doesn't matter" or "west coast gangsta rap is played out" attitide that the east coast has.
