Blackstar - bright as the stars
« on: May 12, 2005, 12:09:37 PM »
thanks to masta t  for hooking this up. this just made my day, already had this shit on repeat for like an hour straight. the beat is unbelievable, and like absolutely perfect pretty much. hella creates the mood. the hook is dope as hell, whatever it sampled.. perfect delivery. mos comes out fucking dope as hell..
i cant wait for the 2nd album by them... these two are seriously the best duo in hip hop in my opinion. like no other two rappers compliment each other as good as these two. besides like outkast or some shit, but seriously.. blackstar on some next level shit. i only wish the rest of the industry would be making music as good as this. we'd all be very happy consumers.

this song is sick. I was kinda disappointed to hear the same sample as LIttle Brother's "speed"

Funny how wack tracks made by D12 get discussed alot more than a dope track by 1 of hip hop's best duo's.

I think it was a leftover from Kweli's Quality album, dunno why it didn't make the cut though. The "new" single is just a white label of the bonus track from Beautiful Struggle "Supreme, Supreme", with this track on the b side I think. The only other Black Star track I know of that isn't on any albums is "I Get High", but thats mainly Kwa with Mos singing in the background.
