2002, Year Of The Wu continues pace, with the news that ANOTHER Wu offshoot label has been set up.

Protect Ya Neck Records has just been launched, with the help of RZA and John 'Mook' Gibbons, who has been responsible for creating, producing and marketing previous Wu-Tang projects.

The label's first release will be 'Protect Ya Neck Collection, Vol. 1', a compilation of new and unreleased material by RZA, Kurupt, O.D.B., Shyhiem, Deadly Venoms, Wu-Syndicate, Black Knights, 9th Prince, MMO, Ice Grillz and many more.

Of particular interest is the track Free Old Dirty, which shares a title with an old Crack Village song. ODB himself features on the track, and his voicals are taken from those legendary "on the run" sessions with the RZA..

I don't like Wu too much, but I think it's too bad that an artist like Kurupt who's been in the rap game since back in the days is gettin destoyed!!!!!!!!! :'(
