« on: July 30, 2002, 11:44:45 AM »
yo i just made this mix but would like some advice to perfect it... so far here is what i have and im looking for music along these lines

01 bernard wright - who do you love
02 bootsy collins - id rather be with you
03 isley bros - footsteps in the dark
04 el debarge - all this love
05 kool and the gang - winter sadness
06 paul simon - 50 ways to leave ur lover
07 el debarge - i like it
08 kool and the gang - summer madness
09 bootsy collins - may the force be with you
10 isley bros - between the sheets
11 smokey robinson - cruisin
12 toni tone tony - i been thinkin of u
13 el debarge - a dream
14 aaron neville - in the still of the night
15 aaron neville - little peice of heaven
16 joe sample - in all my wildest dreams

its kinda like an old school r n b mix.. but also there is a focus on songs that are well known samples.. if u know any other that would fit in with everything else it would be dope... i also am lookin for a lot of high pitched singing stuff most of the singers on here sound like that and ithink it would fit good

suga foot i know u know mad shit so hook me up

The List is lookin pretty dope.  Here's some songs that might fit (and are sampled):

The Delegation "Oh Honey"
Debarge "Stay With Me"
The Gap Band "Yearning For Your Love"
Bobby Caldwell "Do For Love" (My Personal Fav.)
Bobby Caldwell "My Flame"
Tyrone Davis "In The Mood"
The Spinners "I'll Be Around"

^These Are Mostly Slow Songs Cuz That's what I Dig, But theyu  are very dope none the less

I noticed you have Joe Sample Last, Be sure to check these instrumentals out too:

Donny Hathaway "Valdez In The Country"
Art Of Noise "Moments In Love"

and Isaac Hayes has a LOT of dope instrumentals (especially "Bumpy's Lament")

And If you happen to find David McCallum "The Edge", GIVE IT TO ME! lol.

Hope I helped, peace.
