Welcome To The House.....bad signs

The first single from the Doggystyle All Stars compilation
"Welcome to the House" is FALLEN STAR by La toiya Williams...
the song is nice but nothing special to get some radio airplay.
The VIDEO is embarrassing :all about the 70s,with big ice creams everywhere (with la toiya above) and in the background snoop and soopafly dance like 2 disables.
Again...i like Snoop but god dammit he needs to do something more original for his label and his artists.

What do y'all think ?

I'm feeling the track and the video is pretty dope too. But it might not be a good first single because those MTV kids will think "Welcome To Tha House, Vol. 1" is LaToiya's own album ignoring the fact Soopafly, Snoop & Mr. Kane are also part of this project.

this is a hip hop/rap release and they have an r&b song as the first single so some people might not know what to expect from the album............


r&b fans aren't interested in buying a snoop album = bad single

snoop/gangsta rap fans don't want an r&b sounding album =bad single

Dogghouse America could be a better single.
However.....we are in th 2002 and the same ol'shit about the 70s is kinda boring now.
