CL Smooth signed with Shaman Work Recordings last week (nope, I've never heard of them either), but the result is a new track, produced by Mike Lowe, check it out below:

Mike Lowe did a great job producing that track.
He's just rhymin' over track one off of Pete Rock's last instrumental album.

Its not actually the same track, same sample used in pretty much exactly the same way, but the Pete Rock version had better drums than this one does. So yeah not actually the most original beat from Mike Lowe.
