This is a pretty cool program, I just got it the other day...

you can also DL it directly from Google @ http://earth.google.com

MSN has a similiar program they plan on released except its entirely web-based.  Google Maps just keeps getting cooler as well.

they don't have every area covered.. my hood is like 5-10 miles away from where the covered land near munich central ends, sucks. hope they fix that shit :D but hey, I found my street!! (check that "roads" stuff in the menu) but like I said, it's unfortunately not in the detailed area where you can see cars n shit
