Probably spent it on studio time and marketing. Shit ain't free.10k wont get you all that much studio time...

well P had one of those deals(iīve forgot what they are called)which basically kept No Limit an independet company as far as money making is concerned and all Priority did was press up the albums pretty much. most of the marketing and whatnot was done by Pīs personal marketing company. and he signed Beats By The Pound and Deadly Soundz as in-house producers meaning that he paid them to do a certain amount of songs for him and he signed them up for a whole bunch of songs and paid them for all of the tracks when he signed them. thus he made it impossible for them to demand more and more per beat once No Limit blew up so they produced all of NLīs early albums(on Pirority but they weren not No Limitīs fiirst albums) from front to back and P had already paid them so he made all of them money. and what made it possible for P to land a deal like that is that he had an album go gold 100% independently(the first TRU album with his brothers on it)and he sold hundreds of thousands of records indie therefor the major labels had to offer him an incredible deal and they hardly had to fund him coz he had all of the stones in place already.
P started No Limit with 10k and made it into various things that at one point were valued at almost 1 billion dollars.
i dunno how much of the 15 dollers master p made on each copy soldbut deathrow used to get 5$ off the 15.. so they make 5 million for each platinum plaqueam pretty sure dre got atleast the same deal or maybe a lil betterso when eminem sells 8 millsaftermath makes 40 millem prolly makes 1$ per copyu got promo money cut off so net profit is atleast 20 mill for dream pretty sure though P made much more than that cause its a print and distribute dealand he prolly fucks his artists over too
Master P comes from New Orleans and attended the University of Houston on a basketball scholarship. However, he soon dropped out of college and moved to Richmond, taking business class at Merritt Junior College. Using his grandfather's inheritance, Master P formed No Limit as a record store, then turned it into a label.
He was worth $56.5 million in 98.
Quote from: Citizen-Y on July 11, 2005, 02:40:24 PMHe was worth $56.5 million in 98.naw he made $56.5 million in profits in 98 according to a VH1 documentary about him. at one point i know his various buisness deals were valued at over 550 million but that was back when he managed several athletes and had sooo many different buisness ventures goin on. but P is still cakin in coz he owns a whole bunch of shit thatīs not related to music and that Nickolodeon shit alone prolly takes care of his yearly expenses. and he still owns those sport centers and shit he built when he managed all of those athletes. that VH-1 documentary about him is pretty interesting and i have it on my comp and i might up it over night.
^whoa P was worth more then Jordan back then. prolly still is worth more then him but i thought MJ was worth a lot more then that.

Knew how 2 hustle...or since the rap game aint the same no more it dont count
No Limit went crazy in 1998, it seemed like they were releasing albums every week.
Master P saved Snoop. if it wasn't for Percy miller, aint no tellin where the fuck Snoop Dogg -"the rapper that your grandma knows about", would be today..snoop was off Death Row, broke, fucked-up with no future. and Master P scooped him up.alota people tend to give credit to Dre & Suge for the creation of Snoop, but it was on No Limit that Snoop found himself.. he said so himself..
