BRITISH BOY BAND COVER BONE THUGS!!!
« on: June 29, 2002, 06:01:46 AM »
I got  home switched on the tv and cd uk was on. There was some kid who about 16 sayin yeah i want to have a debut number 1 with the track crossroads. They then played a snippet of it and it sounded exactly the same as bone thugs tha crossroads. I cant believe they have given permission for this. It wasant just the beat which they had used , it was the hook aswell. Thats all i heard of it. This sort of thing really annoys me  its obviously gonnna b a hit un the uk, and now we r gonna get a bunch of ignorant people thinking this boy band came up with song. Ive lost count the amount of times people have said to me that pain is a ja rule song and not a tupac one. The same thing is now gonna happen with bone thugs. >:(

Yeah, I heard about this. Their called 'The Blazin' Squad', lmao, how original, I can't wait to hear it and have a good laugh. This is a joke though, I feel you on that 2Pac thing, i've had many people try to tell me "Pain" is an original by Ja Rule.

I think that if you take one of the 'O's' out of 'Good' it's 'God', if you add a 'D' to 'Evil' it's the 'Devil'. I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said 'let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers'.

Yeah this is fucked up, they did the whole thing without once mentioning Bone, and it even sounded as if these fools were trying to take credit for the song. It's funny how many of us actually watched a bit of CD:UK though, considering how it is extremely pop orientated, I know I was only watching it for Christina Milian's appearance on the show.

Yeah, thats true, classics are always targets for covers, but it's seems as if they havn't given any props, without mentioning Bone themselves people who don't neccesserily know the song are gonna think that this boy band originally made it, just like the 2Pac song, "Pain".

The most dumbass thing about this is that the band still do the "bone, bone, bone, bone" bit at the start, when they don't even have the word Bone in their name, and I doubt whether any of their group members are called Bone. I don't think they thought that one through very well.

They didant think about it because they r a boy band and boy bands arn't allowed to think for themselves.
