the beat was better all around, better flow to it, nice dark strings, good durms, good bass, good arranging.

j-funcs beat i thought was gonna be killer at the beginning, but then it started iwth some weird synth melody tha ti wasn't diggin too much. keep at it tho homie.

This one is pretty tough....EMENCE's beat has this Dre vibe that is pretty sick....J-Func's at the start I wasn't sure where he was going with it but when that Talkbox or whatever synth kicked it, I said alright thats gangsta. It just had a better overall flow to me so J-Func takes a vote from me on this one.

I vote for Emence.  His beat was more complex.  It seemed like he put a lot more work into it.  The string melody was tight too.


J-Func had some cool effects, but I thought it wasn't mixed very well.  I thought he could have done more with the drums too, they were a little plain and boring.

My vote goes to Emence. Like Adon said, it seemed more complicated. I dont like the sounds in J-Func's beat, they sound ugly to me. I liked the melodies in Emence's beat, and the string sounds were deep. The drums are better too.
