Man, every fucking day I see a thread with someone saying that this or that album is a "classic". Stop bringing up the term "classic" that often! Only a handful of Hip-Hop albums can be called classics in my opinion.

Just because an album is tight, does not make it a classic. The way I see it, an album can be called a classic when it had a certain impact on the industry, when it sets a trend, when all tracks are banging, when the lyrics are top-notch, etc...

Venni Vetti Vecci is a very decent album indeed, but that's where it stops.

EXTREMELY far from classic. I mean, yeah, this has to be his best album, and it's got some nice cuts but come on... Xzibit's Man VS Machine for example was by far superior to this one. Same goes for 50 Cent's The Massacre. Need I say more?

No, really. You would have put it in the Knuckles top 50? Then what's the artistic value of this album, what's the amazing parts of it, what's even been influential about it? How did it contribute to hip-hop? I rest my case.

Don't mean to burn down Ja, but I'm just not digging his style and I really don't think he's got what it takes to make a classic, at all. If you're gonna call this album a classic, then there probably is something wrong with your definition of the word 'classic'.
