should MTV stop reporting 50 Cent news?
« on: August 04, 2005, 11:04:12 AM »
i´m just wonderin how y´all feel about this coz his book is comin out on MTV´s publising company and they are heavily involved in the produtction of his movie so can they really report on news about 50 without bein biased due to the fact that whatever´s bad for 50 will be bad for them aswell(from a business point). and is it a coincidence that 50´s allowed to go on MTV and say whatever he wants about various artists and it´s fine but they edited out the part in Cassidy´s video where he is makin fun of 50. so should a media company that´s run by so-called journalists do business this way coz like i said there´s no way in the world they´ll report anything that will make 50 look like an idiot coz they´ll lose money if they do it. i can´t blaim them for a business perspective but they try to make themselves look like journalists but they are doin the same shit as The Source basically(and they critized The Source for it).

I think they should stop reporting music period and stick to what they do best: making dating shows for fags.

of course nothin will change but if this isn´t a conflict of interest then i don´t know what is. now that 50 has shot a video for Piggybank just watch MTV play it a million times a day and turn around and show the edited version of B-Boy Stance.

I can understand that MTV is bias.  They only like people who are rich, famous, and talentless.
I have to admit that 50 cents got talent........talent to be an asshole.

Fiffy is played out. I lost respect for that nigga when they showed Young Buck, Banks and Yayo clinging and following that nigga around. Don't Yayo, Banks and Buck have a crew of their own? Why are they always neck and neck with 50? Fiffy will be nobody once Dre stops making beats for him. Fiffy does know how to write good hooks and choruses though. Too bad he can't help out the weak Olivia and Yayo.

It's called MTV2.

And it doesn't have much of an impact.

MTV is already about to be removed from the Norwegian, Finnish, Swedish and Danish market, so MTV started a website called FightforMTV.com where they claim to be sooo popular and loved, and boasting/exaggerating their viewer ratings to symbolize how "important" they are, and they even sued Norwegian Canal Digital, the biggest satellite/cable TV company in Scandinavia.
Scandinavia doesn't put up with their bullshit ass reality shows, 60% commercials and crappy dating shows, watch the rest of the world to follow soon..  :D

Are you serious?  Is Mtv really going down?  Maybe it's just those areas, right?  IF not, wow...wonder what audience and Carson Daily gonna say.

yeah they're completely biased and the reason he gets away with all he does is because of all of the fucking media attention.  its why every time Game does something they either don't report it or misrepresent that shit but every time 50 opens his mouth they report on it like its the word of god.
