Who's got a GPS unit?

Out with my girl over the weekend saw the tomtom 700, gotta get me one of those.  Anybody here got a gps unit?

Yeah, got the TomTom Go, it's sweet..



Like every other GPS, it gets lost in tunnels, and takes 2-10 seconds to relocate when you get out of the channel, they should find a solution to that..

i was thinking about getting one of those when i got to LA for school next semester, is it like a cell phone bill where you get service month to month or is it just something you buy at the store and it's already activated

A buddy of mine has the Pioneer unit for his truck with 7" widescreen on it.  It plays Cd's and DVD's as well.  It has GPS for all of North America on it.  Its fuckin sick, but they dont come cheap.  It cost him $3500.00

There is assisted satellite navigation i think, which kicks in when you're in a tunnel i think.  Shouldn't be that big a deal though, cause i'm usually not changing directions too much in tunnels

lol, man, i know mapquest, but i hate printing out 10 sheets of paper if i'm going on a long trip and having to check them all the time if i'm driving solo

I will get one early next year after I get my new truck.

What kind of truck you lookin to get?  And what kind of GPS would ya put in it?
