But Rakim gotta be #1 cause it came out like 7 years earlier, which is A LOT in hiphop.. Paid in full is unbelieveable for '87.. blows anything away from that time, imo at least.

Not to down Paid In Full, but I personally enjoy Illmatic more (the only flawless album I ever heard?). Then again, when you're speaking of greatness... Illmatic definately was big and influential, but I think it really was Paid In Full that's influenced almost every single rap album made ever since. Seems like a clear case to me which one will be the #1 then.
