those subwoofers dont look too bad, thye might be able to bump. it always depends on the brand, my friend got 2 12's the brand is called rav.. and my brothers one12 kicks its ass
if u want a good amp from different amounts of watts try gettin a sony x-plod one or maybe even a pioneer
an example of is what my brother has in his car:
1 12 inch JlL AUdio W3 sub
1 sony xplod amp not sure of the wattage
and a panasonic cd deck

its up to u tho
they subs ur gettin are said to be worth $400 a pair, that soudns alright, but for that many watts may be a little odd because a 12 inch JL Audio sub w3 runs about $300
i'm not too much of a person that knows this but i'll ask people about this and get back to u

Go to a local car audio store and ask some questions.

It all depends on how much you wanna spend.

Soundstream, AudioBahn & Pheonix Gold Are three of the best kind of speakers but can be very expensive.  There is also a new MTX speaker called the RFL (Real Fucking Loud), but it runs for about $3,000.00  :-/

The MTX Thunder 6000's are my favorite speakers.  Best Bang for your buck.

A Plexi-Glass box will make the speakers sound even better.

Some Good amps are, Kenwood, Orion, Earthquake

Make sure the amp has a crossover, otherwise your subs will act as speakers instead of just subs.

DO NOT BUY A USED AMP!!!  BUY IT NEW!!! People usually sell their amps because they don't work properly and constant;y blow.

Sony Xplode makes good tweets and mid-range, and they are pretty affordable.

If your buying new stuff, you have to remember the more you spend, the better it will sound.

And the best peice of advice i can give you is to get it all professionally installed.  You will only cause problems for yourself if you try to put it all in yourself.

Code: [Select]
one person told i should get half of what tha subs are,  he said 1200 watts would be good.  Another person said that i would need atleast a 2000 watt amp.

When you buy subs, it usually comes with a sheet of paper that will give you all the information needed about powering them and boxing them.

i found out about another thing.. if u want a good amp then u should be running about $1 a watt. so if u want a good 300 watt amp, then go for something aroudn the price of $300, also just because a sub says a certain amount of wattage doesnt always make it true
yeah plexi glass is tight but its also more expensive

a thing i noticed about those subs is each one weights a good amount but my brother has a 300 Watt JL audio amp and weighs even more, see why would someone sell a sub so cheap especially at 1000 watts?

actually its not that hard to install urself the whole system but thats up to u, if u dont kno how at all, then have it done professionally
fo subz go for rockford fosgate, the real good kind, other ones are kinda shitty, JL Audio, PPI (these can be expensive as fuck)

for amps try
sony xplod (those are pretty good), pioneer, i cant think of anything else right now lol

KOVE

WHAT??? I can't believe that nobody's mentioned Kove yet!!! IMHO, Kove Audio is easily the best, no doubt about it! Check out the new Kove Armageddon U-2 Series 18D, which is an 18" subwoofer with over 2,000-watts of power (RMS, not peak)!!! They just released a new amplifier, called the "ZX 2000," which is also over 2,000 watts RMS. If you're willing to spend a whole $#!+ load of money, then definitely check out Kove.

...but, if you don't have a whole lot of money to spend, (but still a good amount), try checking out some of Kove Audio's other Armageddon series sub woofers. For example one (or two) M12D's in a ported box with a ZX 1000 amp would be a really good setup.
