i know im gonna catch alotta flack for this but i say late registration because i cant listen to common very much. i think hes a great lyracist and i respect him and all that shit but his flow just sounds boring and redundant to me. Kanye isnt a great emcee but he puts alotta work into his lyrics, theyre clever and hes more interesting to me

even though i like Late Reg. ya as far as mc skills Be kills Kanye but Kanye comes up with fresh new shit that seems to work alota times

Late Registration. Beats and lyrics aside, just the production and mixing alone is some of the best I've ever heard on a hip-hop record.
