Hey, I was watching news today and they were talking about how other countries weren't supporting u.s.
with food and donations and stuff like that.  What do you think about that?

the only countries that could support U.S are Canada and some European countries the rest need help themselves so there is nothing to think about  unless your expecting help fom Africa and Iraq

On one hand, these people knew the storm was coming, why didn't they leave?  on the other hand, maybe they can't afford to just up and leave. 

The Canadian Red Cross is sending a couple hundred people down.  AND Hugo Chavez has even offered help.

My dumb family members out there stayed. They got lucky though and drove out to Memphis where my other aunt lives.
