i've made a thread about this before......but since i started working i dont get a chance to online when people are on.....i know some of yall was gonna help.....but lets say i download this movie.......Mr.Deeds.2002.FS.DVDRip.DivX-RFtA <rfta-divx-md.avi> ( i know this is a .avi file.....can i burn it some way to watch it on a DVD player

or how about this format
The.Rookie.DVDRip.SVCD-VCS [CD1]
i believe its an .mpg file......how could i watch this on dvd player......or a .m2v file???

could someone help me out in details if they can......somebody told me to download Nero Burning......i got that .....i just need to know how to burn it in the program......what i need to set so i can watch it

its easy when u have an mpg or m2v file & nero burning rom.

If u have an mpg :

1) Open Nero
2) Select "Burn As" in the main folder
3) Choose "as a VCD" or just "VCD"
4) Put the MPG in the white area & start burning

if u have an m2v :

1) Same
2) Same
3) Choose "as an SVCD" or just "SVCD"
4) Same

if u have an avi :

1) Get TmpegENC (http://www.download.com)
2) Open that program & convert the AVI 2 MPG (vcd) or M2V (svcd) !!! mpg is less MB then M2V !!! so if u wanna have alot on 1 cd then choose convert to MPG.
3) Now u got a MPG or M2V file
4) Check above 4 each
