I'm 100% happy with this album.  I'm glad too see him doing his own thing without Suga Free, Hi-C and them.  Not that they really hold him back, but it's just nice to see him on his own.  The production on this album is amazing, quality wise, and conceptually.  I like his flow too, it's more aggresive than he's been doing. 

It's kinda cool that the tracks on The Trauma Mixtape won't be on the LP, that just makes the mixtape more of a collectable.  I'm glad I got 2.

And no question I'll be buying this.

Yea it definitely sounds like a solid album. After first listen, I'd probably say 8/10 but that might be higher after I hear it some more and it sinks in. It reminds me of how Chronic 01 was when I first heard it, it was dope but it took a lotta listens to sink in because the sound on there was different than usual. Quik's beats are only repetitive as far as some of the vibes go and the drums and basslines on certain tracks, but most of these tracks dont sound like anything Quik has done before. He's experimentin with a lotta diff instruments on here.

man, i HATE the released version of that song... maybe it's cause the OG with DeBarge is one of my all time favourite Quik song... i agree with everything else you said tho

the only track I don't like is the one with T.I.

ALl I can say is wow and thank you quik...another album of 2005 that i can actually play.

After hearing tha album again, my favorite tracks are "Get Up", "Get Down", "Black Mercedes", "Til Jesus Comes", "Fandango", "Spur Of The Moment", & "California" but all of tha tracks overall are real dope...

quik really messed up spur of the moment. imo that bassline just doesn't fit the track. the other new sounds on it are ok though.

i disagree...i didnt think quik could make that beat sound any better but he definitely did...i especially like the trummpet

This album is HOT!!!!!!!!!!!  Def. better than his last effort and the replay value is great.  Hot album, hope Quik doesn't give it up anytime too soon.

But overall a pretty good album, only track I'm not really feeling is "Catch 22". I gotta listen to it some more to really be able to judge. Quikstrumental with Jodeci is amazing. I wish there was more tracks though.
