my question is this, is Eminem a pop artist who generates some street respect/appeal or is he a REAL emcee/hip hop artist who generates a shit load of pop appeal. and i dont wanna hear all the bitchin about how he fell off so hard with encore, we all know that was a bad album, thats not what this is a bout. I just think this can be an interesting discussion since so many people have such different opinions of him.

when he first came out with sslp and mmlp he was in the middle. He was putting out music for the most part that hip hop heads an the streets could enjoy and then he had stuff where it appealed to the pop audience.  He had a nice median.  Now its strictly pop shit and a pop crowd
