Some news and info... plus an obervation!

1) Dana didn't die in the WTC disaster.. I never found out he survived so I thought i'd pass it on  ;D

2) most ppl know snoop covered 'cindafella dana dane' on top dogg... but did ya know....

3) battlecat handles half the production for his '95 album 'Rollin With Dana Dane' (the track in 2 was on an earlier album however.. i dont have that one.. yet)

4) his '95 album's executive producers are.. Lydia Harris and Michael 'Harry-O' Harris...  :o

5) the album dropped on the Harris's LA based label (btw: dana is from Brooklyn) Lifestyles Records.

Nice shit BC.  I have the single Record Jock but not the whole album.  Can you hit us with the album on your FTP or whatever ya gots.  If you have any production credits to scan or cover art.. hit us with that too.  Pz.

people shot themselves in the foot.

remember how many times you've been told NOT to mention it outside the channel, remember how many times the details have been passed around? well thats it.

cant follow a simple request and keep your mouths shut.

Yeah I Think Sikotic Hooked Us Up With That Information A Couple Of Days After He Was Reportedly Killed In The WTC Disaster. Damn My Memory Is Good.

BTW, Its A Shame About The FTP - I Didnt Think You Could Talk About It. Thats Why I Didnt...

Ohh.. so this is my bad.. I talked about it freely on this board but nowhere else.  Thats what I thought was meant by dont talk about it.. meaning.. dont mention it on IRC or to anyone in discussion.  Fa sho didnt give out no info.  

If anyone came at me about it.. I didnt pass around any info cuz it changes.. I told them to visit #WCC.  Didnt know there was a rule not to talk about it on the board cuz I figured everyone here knew we kicked it in that channel.  So there it is.. Its all my fault for mentioning it on the board.. I didnt know I was breakin the rules.  Ill pick that ish up myself.  G-Lookin for the info.

sorry ax.. realised u look like the bad guy here.. but many many people have done it.

i always tried to say ... 'someone in #wcc can hook you up' ... not 'hey overseer's gotta ftp' ... its not just this thats frustrated me... its a combination of 3/4 things..
some people posted the ftp info up on here, others passed it around... i'd come home from work to find private windows full of beggin (and sometimes abuse for non response) even though my name was set to BC|WORK or BC___WERK... grrrr hehe i'll stop moaning now...

I found some info about the rumor that he was killed in the world trade center , just thought i'd pass it on.......


The Hiphop community breathed a sigh of relief, after learning that legendary old school rapper Dana Dane was NOT caught up in the NY tragedy. Fears were raised after DJ Clark Kent told allhiphop.com that Dana was among the WTC missing. However, Dana Dane reached out to us to let the Hiphop communty know that he is indeed alive and well. Dane, who worked in one of the collapsed towers in a computer related business, was presumed to be missing. "Thank you to all of you who had legitimate concerns," Dana Dane said. "I'm still in the world ... so far, alive and kicking!"

Not only is Dana Dane alive, he is also working on a number of new projects. "Let all of these record labels out there (independent or otherwise) know I've got some hot joints looking for an outlet," Dana Dane said.

there is many ppl that have been talking bout the FTP on the board..

so i did it too... :-/

i didnt gave any address or shit, just said that there is a FTP at #westcoastconnection

the FTP was perfect for new hot shit..
