gonzoe - hard dayz long nightz

it has some heat on it.

go hard \w dirt left - 4.5 - this track was on "all out war vol 1".  gonzoe rips it, smashes on game and 50 cent.  it's a heater.  dirt left doesn't add to the song.  dude detracts from the song, but it still bangs.   gonz brings a ton of energy to this track, in terms of new disses in this regime/g-unit battle there isn't much.  but gonz brings the energy to make this hot.

word 2 tha wize \w pops - 5 - i guess gonz got his pops on this track doing adlibs.  i don't know.  the beat is hot.  i think it's one of those soopafly beats, snoop used it during one of his doggystyle skits, the one before "g'z up, hoes down" iirc.   the beat is fire, gonz is spitting street knowledge, like he's rhyming from his pops perspective on old school shit. tries to get a little introspective on this one; good stuff.

blow'n her mind - 4.5 - a little more uptempo.  a more acoustical sound, one of those sounds gonz seems to prefer for his track.  gonz is rhyming about chicks, nothing brilliant here but the song works.

my world \w jahsee - 4 - this sounds like a club song.  gonz drops a clubesque flow, he could have done a little more but i feel like he did enough.  some repitition, some chanting...etc. the beat definitely works there.  jahsee is wack.  dude adds nothing to the song.

we don't stop \w kurupt young gotti - 3.5 - a bouncy track.  the chorus is gonz chanting again, gonz needs to do a little more with the chorii from here on.  kurupt fumbles around with his flow.

gunz & ragz - 3 - i like the title so i had to speak on the track.  productionwise it's a very regime-esque beat.  like a yuk/regime throwaway beat.  the chorus could have been a little better.

back dat man down - 3 - another bouncy track, with a latin twist.  gonz plays with a new flow for the first verse, then kicks his regular flow for the rest of the song.

head \w shandoza - 2.5 - a love song about fellatio.  gonz has all bases covered on this album, all moods including love songs about fellatio.

those are the songs i felt were interesting enough to review.  gonz's flow is very consistent, so the real question is: is he getting hot beats, and is he putting together hot chorii?  with 13 tracks and 3 skits, the beats aren't consistent enough for me.  the re-release in feb will have 4 new songs ,so we'll see what that adds.

overall, the three songs on this album are enough for me to be happy with the purchase and the addition to my collection.  (even though i already had one of them).

i've decided that chorii is a better plural for chorus than choruses.
