50 Cent G-Unit label will be dropped from AFTERMATH RECORDS

22.10.05. - 50 Cent G-Unit label will be dropped from AFTERMATH RECORDS
Remember where u heard it first G-Unit will be dropped from the Aftermath label.

G-Unit will still be under the Shady records umbrella though. It will not have anything to do with Aftermath. Dont worry, dre will still get royalties from the previous g-unit album sales but then when the drop happenes shady will pick up what money Aftermath was getting from g-unit and will then give it to aftermath. Yeah it will happen.

Dre wants nothin to do with 50.

Doubt it! Dre would be an idiot to go with Game instead of 50, on a bussiness level, and a proffesional level too.

that's some fucked up business shit.  I would imagine if this did happen, shady would have to buy out the contract from Aftermath.

Maybe on a business level, but definitely on a personal or even street record.

Dre wotks with and has worked with different artists who 50 has feuded with. Along with that, Game is CPT, and if Dre turned his back on him for a "bitch ass New Yorker" then his West Coast fanbase, along with a little of his East Coast fanbase, would not forgive him.

He already catches alot of heat for not signing enough westcoast rappers.

only 50 cent himself was part shady/part aftermath...

so it _may_ mean his deal is being renegotiated.. or that this is BS

yeah thats why i think this is BS. they keep sayin it like any G-Unit release (besides 50s albums) were on Aftermath. i could see if they said G-Unit cut ties with Aftermath but not Shady

check a D12 or Obie Trice cd (dont have one at work with me), pretty sure it says Shady Records/Interscope as their label
