Anyone got any info on what a good mixertable costs and prices?

Can u do your own music with only a mixer table and a stereo???

Give all the info u can give me, i dont know shit!!!

Yeah, like overseer said, you got a ways to go, homie.

A mixer just 'mixes' 2 or more different signals. You can use it for live performances, in a rock band you'd plug all the mikes and instruments into it. Then, you use the fader controls to 'mix' the levels of the instruments.

In hiphop, you'd mix like 2 turntables, and a microphone or two through it... but man, you don't need that stuff unless you're gonna be a d.j.

If you want to make your own music, like beats and things, all that can be done electronically on your computer. Peace~

Yeah, i know that im waaaay off, but a friend told me that he have a friend that uses his mixtable to create beats???
I dont know, but if your not making beats with that shit and dont want to make music on the computer, what equipment does my friend mean that he´s friend got???
Please help me out, cuz he said that u dont need a computer to create beats, just some speakers and that (in english i dont know) thing that makes u able to bump your cd´s trough for example 200W speakers and not through 40W speakers, ya know that makes the effect bigger...

It's a receiver

well, you can do it that way, but all you can do is live stuff, like scratch stuff over instrumentals, that's the hard way, ha. Just do it on your computer, so much easier.
