Lakers were supposed to reload.  They don't rebuild right?

well at certain points in the recent past NIK has had Kevin Love, Carmelo Anthony, Russell Westbrook, Luol Deng and fuckin Michael Jordan himself as coming to the Lakers....why?  because the Lakers are "Royalty" and that everyone should put their entire life on hold to play infront of a bunch of front runner LA fans who can't even command an NFL team in the 2nd biggest city in America. that's why :D
Of course they lost their way.  Because the 2 jerry's West & Buss are no longer with them.  And I guess I got the time 2 quickly say why LA don't deserve another nfl team is they love to be frontrunners.  In every sport.  For most of the 90's, 60-65+% of so-cals were on dallas & frisco's bandwagon, then jumped on green bay & denver's bandwagon.  Then they jumped on the rams bandwagon even though Whoregia insulted all the so-cals who actually did like the rams[I never liked them].  I saw way more rams fans after they won the SB than ram fans i've seen from 81-97[10]  That there alone is why so-cal don't deserve another team.  Also showed me that if there was a team full of terrorists, white power hate group members, child rapists & child killers-or a combination of all 4 won the SB....a bunch of these so-cals would buy out their SB gear  >:(  You can call them the ultimate bandwaggoners after that but oh no, they'll tell that outright lie of ,' OH NO, WE ALSO LOVED THEM ALL OUR LIVES TOO!'  And they could be holding their hands on the bible why'll saying that.

I'll admit in the past that I jumped on a few bandwagons, never after the team won a championship.  I didn't know better.  I'll admit to.  But so-cals would rather admit watching kiddie porn with pride than 2 admit jumping on someone's bandwagon.  They're the only sports fans who would drop the steelers if they don't win the SB every year.  Which they did for frisco who LOST the SB.  Go fig.  And now so-cals are frontrunning the nhl.  10-15 years ago, it might be once in a few months I might see someone who likes the nhl or wear their gear but until April-June of 2012-now, whole bunch of people I meet love that sport.  And they most likely had this mentality of the people in these pics.

And the dude on the left, I swear he looked perfect for that pic.  Looks & dresses like the average jerkoff bandwagon sports fan that would make fun of you for being loyal to a sorry team.

Byron Scott: Julius Randle looks lost
« Reply #8524 on: October 12, 2014, 05:18:25 PM »
LOS ANGELES -- Julius Randle's debut at Staples Center didn't exactly go smoothly, but Los Angeles Lakers coach Byron Scott expected that from his 19-year-old rookie.

Julius Randle is still learning to adapt to the speed of the NBA game, which was evident in Thursday's matchup with the Warriors.
"I thought he was lost, in the first half especially," Scott said. "I thought in the second half, especially in the fourth quarter he was better, but I thought in the first half the game was way too fast for him.

"He's a 19-year-old playing against a good team like that and moves the ball the way they move and have 4s that are agile and athletic like he is? Yeah, I pretty much expected that."

Randle finished with 12 points on 4-of-12 shooting and had seven rebounds and five assists in a little over 18 minutes in the 120-105 loss to the Golden State Warriors. In the first half, however, he made only one of his five attempts.

"On the offensive end I was hesitating and I wasn't taking what the defense was giving me," Randle said. "And on the defensive end I was being a little bit too aggressive. I wanted to get up and disrupt their rhythm, but it took me out of my rhythm and I have to learn how to adjust. Games are being called tight and I was playing a little too aggressive."

Kobe Bryant, who made his NBA debut when he was 18, said Randle's reluctance on both ends of the floor is normal, and Bryant has been working with Randle on getting acclimated to playing in the NBA.

"He's getting his feet wet," Bryant said. "He's still getting used to the NBA game and the speed of the game. The biggest thing for me is to see him trust his jump shot because at this stage of his career it's important for him to start working on expanding his game early -- facing up and shooting the ball."

I'm not going to lie. This injury hurts, a lot. I was really counting on Randle to pull through and do big things. I know his career as a Laker will be great. I also hope that once the Nash contract is off the books we can pick up Bynum. I just think Bynum can do well and it's been a very long time since the Lakers have had two of their own lottery picks on the Lakers at the same time. It can be something special. I still think we can make the playoffs, never, ever bet against Kobe. Ever. But I'm not going to lie, losing Randle for the year on game one really, hurts.
