It was luck, but Ingram is the best fit for the Lakers this draft. Even if the Lakers got #1, I'd expect them to take Ingram. I know Ben Simmons really wants to be a Laker, but I think Ingram, Russell and Randle will be a great big 3 team for years and years to come. Clarkson is showing signs of being good SG in the league, but I'm very interested in DeMar DeRozan and this talk he wants to go home. I don't think that will happen, especially with the run the Raptors are having, but it's peak my interest to say the least.

Lakers won their season opener. Saw the first half but didn't catch the second half comeback. But I was still very impressed even though they were down. I think Russell is going to be very special. He's got everything. I am very impressed with his game.

I just know in the modern NBA, we have a modern NBA point guard and PG now is as important to a team as QB in the NFL. Russell is a very special talent. I think he's the best PG since Van Exel and could be way better by the end of season. And I was president of the Van Exel fan club.
