Kobe Bryant, Lakers:
He just became the first player in NBA history with at least 47 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 blocks and 3 steals in an NBA game, according to Elias Sports Bureau. (Blocks and steals became official in 1973-74.)

THE KARMA OF NOT HIRING PHIL JACKSON.. THIS SEASON HAS BEEN STRAIGHT UP CURSED. WORST SEASON IN LAKER HISTORY? PERHAPS.

NO QUIT IN LA, THO....MY PREDICTION- KOBE RETURNS 1 MONTH INTO NEXT SEASON AND WE GET PHIL JACKSON BACK BY THEN...

FUCK IT...FIRE D'ANTONI AS COACH NOW AND HIRE KOBE FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON 8)

I don't think there is any question Phil will be coaching the Lakers next year. I can see the Lakers hiring him before the free agency sign date so they can keep Howard. It will be an interesting post season for the Lakers. I still hope they make the playoffs, as they traded the pick and if they make the playoffs then the Suns will end up with the Heat draft pick (a confusing mess to explain) but if the Lakers miss the playoffs then the Suns will end up with the Laker's lottory pick. So hell, make the damn playoffs, screw the Suns and live up to tradition of not missing the playoffs. Also this would be good to see how Howard leads the team. He has to step up. If he can become 2009 Howard, the Lakers can make a good run.

http://nbadraft.net/2013mock_draft

this mock draft seems to be the going consensus at the moment. lakers have some work to do since the won't really get shit out of this years draft. would be good to see them keep howard, but i don't see it happening if they don't make a decent run in the playoffs this year
