he isn't a factor cuz the majority of people in the world don't know good shit when they hear it

he SHOULD be up there with Dre recognition-wise

we all know them 2 are the Kings of makin the best West Coast music though  8)

he doesnt get recognition cuz he didnt get a white guy to resurrect him from oblivion like dre did. if it werent for em, dre would have been stuck at the the aftermath mixtape......dre is one of my favorites dont get me wrong but his career aint shit compared to quiks catalogue

yeah I feel the exact same way, but people who love Dre will never accept it nor admit it

I can't understand how some can't see Quik is better musically though, they say his shit is boring, etc.   :eh:

there is some Dre shit I don't like and when I try to think real hard I can't even come up with a Quik track that sucked nor I didn't like

obviously people say Dre makes some others better working with them... but look at all Quik's friends, 2nd II None, AMG, etc... he makes them so tight on his beats and they're straight average rappers

and Suga Free is dope as fuck, but think of how he's 100x better on a crazy Quik beat

i think musical people (just people that appreciate quality music more, not necessarily musicians) like quiks music more... because you need to listen to the music... dre's beats are so simple you just let em bang... quiks shit you actually have to listen to all the different sounds and layers he uses to really appreciate it...


i guess quik fans are just smarter  ;D
