well dre got chronic/chronic 2001 and thats it. i dont like his production nowadays.
i always liked quiks stuff from the beginnin + he produced some dope ass cds
like 2nd ii nones, mausbergs, suga frees...im not dickridin quik its just i like his style
more than dres. dre is commercial, quik isnt and thats the way i like it. i mean i would
love to see quik on mtv again and shit. but what im tryin to say is i cant stand mainstream
hip hop and thats what dres doin. i respect him alot but i just dont like his stuff anymore
than quiks. he def deserves more attention ^^

niggaz 4 life had some classic production on it...100miles nice production.......out of comp.had classic production.......chronic of course........2001 ....mechele 1st....doc.......eazy...snoops shit........hell, even befor you turn out the lights was bumping......jj fad......(we all in the same game was produced by dre)....so with out em,dre would have made it out good in the end........but quick is a beast to.I like both.but quicks shit has been killing dres music for about 3yrs.now.

damn...it is starting to look like a dre vs. quik thread. Is it impossible to love both of them at the same time? Dre and Quik are two of fav. producers ever and I believe they are the two greatest producers in hiphop EVER.  Anyone who says either doesn't have shit on the other one does not know what the fuck they are talking about.

Like 'west coast' if you cant see that quik is more musically advanced than dre despite taste, than u need to grab a box of q-tips right now. At the same time u cant and I repeat CAN'T talk shit about dre production work.

As for quik he hasn't produced as many classic albums as dre, but his solo classics I believe can most definitely hang with dre's solo classics.

Quik has done more records & imo on jus music Rhythmalism can hold it's own wit both Dre's albums
