The X-Ecutioners, who are currently out on the Adrenaline Rush tour with the Coup and Kenny Muhammad, will open MTV's Aerosmith Icon special. The group will perform a medley of Aerosmith hits to open the show, which will tape on April 14 in Los Angeles. The special is scheduled to air April 17 on cable music channel--check your local listings.

The X-Ecutioners' new album, Built From Scratch, is currently Number 55 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and has already sold more than 195,000 copies since its release.
