HELP! How do you clear memory and disc space?

One time Blade helped me and he showed me where all these files were on my computer that I never used.  There was a shitload of them in several difference locations on my computer.  Anybody know how he did this?  Where is all that?  I can't remember the shit he showed me.  I wish I would of saved the convo.

Anybody else know how to clear memory and disc space?

Heres a start:


Go to 'Start' at the bottem left hand corner...Then scroll up to "Programs", than "Accesories", than "System tools" and than click "Disk Clean Up" button and keep clicking "OK"...Hope that helped...PeACE

Before we start, you need to back up your important files (School, Finances etc...) before doing this... I can't stress this enough. Put them on a CD or a diskette or send them to somebody you trust.

What you need to do is open a "Dos Prompt"

You can do this by hitting the start menu, and the pressing "Run"

Once that window pops open, type: "CMD" and hit return.

A black window should pop up and then you just need to type this:
"format c:"

It will give u a warning but just ignore it... hit "y" and return and sit back and watch the free space get bigger and bigger


once again, Be SURE to back up your important files (School, Finances etc...) before doing this... I can't stress this enough.
