Regarding to Bush's issues
« on: December 15, 2005, 02:30:16 PM »
Okay, first off.  Many of have heard about the success election.  Now, what I want to know is how powerful can democracy be in iraq?  I mean..will U.S. succeed their goals?  Also, now that Iran has been meddling with iraq election...do you think U.S. will go into war but only this time with iran?

Second.  What do you guys think about Proposal for interrogations?  Meaning...U.S. can't torture prisoners for information but to use enchancement?

Thirdly, when the 2008 election comes...do you believe Hillary Clinton will win the presidency? Explain.

i think in regards to Iraq in general only time will tell if democratic gov't will work there. in all honesty time will tell.

as far as Iran goes...it all depends upon who you listen to. if you listen to the State Dept. they say that Iran needs to quit with the nukes thing. if you listen to Iran itself they are responding with a lil middle finger spewing Holacaust retcons. the way things are now in the states if there is an attack of ANY kind and the White House even says Iran ... you could have another country added to the war on terrorism. But thats hard to call because some politican's here are "acting" like they distrust the White House.

well as far as interrogations go trust me THERE will be a loophole that will be exploited. Just like it was before. the logic used by Rumsfeild at one point was that Terrorist have no country therefore i.e. they can be tortured. watch "Rumsfield's War" for more on that.

as far as Hillary goes my opinion is that she will def. try to run. but this is REAL tricky. see she cannot win alone. what Dems could do is try to run someone like Obama along with her. The Dems could say that we have a woman and a blackman we are progressive. But then the Reps. (if you believe the rumors) are conceiving Rice as a person on the 2008 ticket. Bottomline don't know. but Hillary will try. there is also talk of Bill Clinton becoming the next UN president. see http://www.hindustantimes.com/news/7242_1201841,00180016.htm

regarding to iraq and democracy: I'm talking about in your opinion.  I know time will tell, but from the looks of it do you still think it might work?  Just what exactly is the problem?  Is it because they are not used to freedom of voting or is it because someone is gonna dominate them?

For Iran:  I know the leader threw that finger and mentioning that it was a myth.  I believe we will go to war with iran.  It could be ww3.  But I'm just speculating.  What do you think?  I mean..Iran is ignoring others and continues to develop nukes.

For torture: If there's a LOOPHOLE...WIll it hurt the republican and MCCAIN?

Hillary:I feel sorry for democratic at this moment.  They are just plain weird.  They never stay consistant with what they believe.  But anyway.  Hiliary might be able to pull it off because I believe she knows what she's talking about.    Forget rice...she's too dumb to even know what's going on.  At least in my opinion.

i think once we leave all hell will break lose. the iraqi's have to do it on their own. it will be unstable for a while i think and then finally and Iraqi will say screw this and try to put an end to the craziness.

the loophole will hurt the Rep. party period. Mccain is pretty teflon right now in terms of his rep. he is living up to the war hero image. any finagling to allow torture will burn the party not him.

after this president is finished i think that the Dems will have it easier. the country is pissed with this admin.

I agree with you on that..especially regarding to the bush admin's.   But hey, it's two more years after this year, right?  something to look forward to.
