Nate Dogg - G Funk Classics Vol 1... you're gonna need some smooth, chill shit if you're on an island all by youurself ;)

thats a damn good choice man but i would take g-funk classics vol. 1&2

you're right... i tend to forget that it was released as a double album too... cause i only have the G Funk Classics Vol 1 and the Prodigal Son cd's...

Vol 1 is much better than Vol 2 tho...

all i'm saying is i think doggystyle sounds better.  if i'm on an island i don't care which album had the greater impact.  no question "the chronic" had the greater impact.  i'd argue "straight outta compton" had an even greater impact than "the chronic" or "efil4zaggin".

that's really not the question.  if we're asking which album sounds better, i'm taking "doggystyle" over "the chronic" anyday.  better beats (although the chronic brought heat) and i'd rather hear snoop instead of dr dre anyday.

ditto "efil4zaggin".  i don't listen to albums because of "influence" or "popularity".   i listen to what sounds good.

additionally, on a desert island i don't want to hear disses.  listening to "the chronic" makes me want to hear eazy's responses and also b.g. knocc out & dresta.   this is part of the reason why i didn't choose "real brothas", although i may be over analyzing the question there.

haha good shit ;)
