yes, 50 did great but GRODT had sold 2 million copies more when i had been out for 9 months and 50 himself said that if The Massacre sold less then GRODT he´d view it as a failure.

he didn't have the 2005 version of in da club on it - so it was never gonna sell more than GRODT. fact.

True. However, if he had put Outta Control remix (without Mobb Deep) as a 1st single who knows what would have happened.Im still surprised he had sold this much though.

one can only hope that GRODT sold more coz it was actually better but knowing pop fans i doubt it. it prolly had something to do with promo or some shit like that.

that is wishful thinking.  the reason was "in da club" plain and simple.  and everyone knows it.

I think if he had released : Candy Shop, then Outta Control (original) then the other shitty song with Olivia , sales would have been higher

of course it played in but 50 had a lot more promo on GRODT aswell coz he was everywhere when it dropped and the anticipation that peeps had even before In Da Club was something never ever seen before in the history of music.

Mariah Carey deserves more props than 50. She made a great comeback this year

I don't care what people say - or even what 50 himself says.

The Massacre would NEVER have outsold GRODT unless it had a song to achieve a similar impact as "In Da Club" had on the pop market.

yea and with this album Mariah surpassed MJ´s overall sales in the US and that´s crazy. her album will creep towards diamond coz she´s still putting up numbers close to 100k every single week(just like how RnB singers used to do 10 years ago).
