Tuesday morning, June 4th, 2002, Big Boy announced the story of Jose Torres-Perez on the air and challenged all listeners, celebrities, car clubs and the whole Power 106 family to help show "The Power of a Dollar."

Jose was born prematurely in Mexico, is mentally retarded and has up to 15 seizures a day. His necessary surgery and care is estimated at $250,000 which is why Big Boy is asking the help of all his listeners. (I have more info if needed)
