dubcnn.com: What's happening Jayo? On this interview I ain't gone ask you about beef shit, let's keep it about the music!

Yeah, okay!

dubcnn.com: Aight, what's going on with you, let us know what's cracking with you right now, what you got cooked up next?

What's up mayne, I'm just chillin' right now, blowin' up this muthafuckin heat! I got this new mixtape coming out called "Fuck Ya'll Vol.1: Set The Muthafuckin' Record Straight" and I got a new album coming out called "In Da Trenches". Coming out through Treacherous/Universal.

dubcnn.com: When can we expect that mixtape?

Actually it's getting done as we speak, it's getting done today. I got about 11-12 songs on it, and it's off the hook. We wrappin it up today! We got some surprises on there mayne, you know I speak my tongue and speak what's on my mind, I don't give a fuck. So I just set the record straight, it's a couple cats on there I had to serve right quick. You know? Ya'll can pick it up and see what I'm talkin' about, it's all gravy!

dubcnn.com: Which beats do you rap over?

Man on that mixtape man, we got all kinds of shit! We got a couple regular songs on there, then we got some shit from my boy Alchemist you know, we rappin' on alotta Alchemist instrumentals. Shit like that, flippin' it up, making it different. But that mixtape is off the meatrack though! It's gonna heat some streets up before I drop this bomb on them!

dubcnn.com: Is it gonna be free or sold?

Yeah it's gonna be both, we gonna give away some and sell some.

dubcnn.com: Ok I know you have a bunch of other projects lined up, let's take it one by one. What happened to In Da Trenches?

In Da Trenches is the new solo album coming out, scheduled to come out in May, no later than June. June is the latest that the album is coming out, it's not gonna come out any later than that. So for sure, by May or June, my new album will be released. And it's comin' out through Treacherous/Universal as I said, and shit is gonna be off the hook! It's like man, I put alotta work into it, I took my time with it, and came out with the right project. So thing is, it ain't just me on there dissin' rappers and all that shit, I'm making songs, making good records. But I damn sure spoke my mind on this mixtape. So you gonna really hear me serving whoever I feel needs to be served on that mixtape. But when it comes to my album, I ain't got nothin' but shit for them bitches mayne, and for them niggaz mayne. And I got these songs that them bitches gone like man, and get a nigga to the top.

dubcnn.com: I got to hear some of it thanks to Silk. The shit sounds vicious. Who all produced on it?

Yeah man, my boy DJ Silk, he produced on it. He's made alot of my old shit like "Watcha Gonna Do", "Hotter Than Fishgrease", and he made this new record that I got on my new album featuring Sleepy Brown. That record I got with Sleepy Brown is off the hook man. The females gone love it. For real! And the beat is off the hook.

dubcnn.com: Who else you got producing?

I got my boy Havoc from Mobb Deep puttin' it down with me, he laced my shit up for me, that shit is off the hook. Then I got my boy Jelly Roll puttin' it down! Jelly Roll is off the hook with it, he got songs on there actually, where he came with the track, and he did the chorus on there, so all I had to do was roll with him on what he was doin', and make the song. And I got my boy Blaqtoven, that's Jelly Rolls brother, on there. I got my cat Emil from New York.

So man, the shit is finna be off the hook man, it's a well rounded album, and as far as In Da Trenches, it's like I'm just making good records that people can get into without all the bullshit involved. But at the same time, I'm lettin' the world know, I don't just diss muthafuckas for nothin', it's just certain muthafuckas that need to be dissed. You know what I mean? Backpack rappers tryna be gangstas! You know what I'm sayin? It's like this, it's up to real muthafuckas in these streets, to speak out against the bullshit! And it just so happens that I'm one of the muthafuckas! So when you trying to be a backpack rapper, then you try to convert over to gangsta rap, after you done disrespected gangsta rap, somebody gotta speak up about it! And these fake ass muthafuckas that act like they so hard, and don't even live out here in California, talkin' a whole bunch of shit from you know, 3,000 miles away! But they need to come home. They don't even go to clubs and don't do shit, when it comes to bein' out here in these streets! As far as being seen on the regular, without no police with you.

But you know, other than that, I'm just havin' a ball, happy to be back in the game like it's supposed to be. They just puttin' out the new Source magazine, with Jay-Z and Dame Dash on the cover. They got a nice lil picture of ya boy mayne, on top of everybody, they know lyrically I ain't no punk. They got my boy E-40, Ice Cube, and them in there, and Game doin' his thing. So the West Coast is about to do our thing man, and it's like as far as I go, in the game, I ain't never had the push behind me that I feel that I deserved. And now that I'm with a label that gives a fuck about my career and pushin' the line with me, all hell is about to break loose! I finally got with a label that's got my back! And that's all I really needed!

dubcnn.com: Who's appearing on the album as guests?

Yeah man I got my boy Sleepy Brown on there, I got like I said Jelly Roll and them on there, I got Mobb Deep & Riflemen features you know what I'm sayin', it's gonna be off the hook dogg!

dubcnn.com: So you're deal is Treacherous/Universal. Crooked I said he holla'd at them for you. What kinda deal do you have?

Yeah he probably holla'd at them, but you know the business, it ain't like muthafuckas don't know who I am! And Crooked I was lookin' out because Crooked I knew that I gotta be heard. Cause bottom line, my chapter ain't been written yet! I been in the game, people waitin' to hear what the fuck I gotta say. I have never gotten my just due. It's like I'm still a brand new artist in the game, regardless of all the shit I been through! Cause people wanna know the business man. And bottom line, it ain't too many rappers, and I'm not just talkin' about the West Coast, I'm talkin' about East Coast to wherever else the fuck they got rappers at. It ain't too many rappers in this world that can fuck wit me. And now it's time for me to step up to the plate and show the world I can handle my business as a business man, as a entrepreneur, and get my bread. And I'm not no muthafuckin' hard head to work wit, but if you a weenie, then I'ma pull your covers, period! If you a bitch ass nigga rappin', I'ma pull your covers! So if that's bad, then I guess that's bad! But the fans love me for it, cause they don't wanna be listenin' to a muthafuckas CD and he talkin' bout he killed 15 muthafuckas and he ain't never did that and you talkin' bout you a G in these streets. But you really out here with a dick in your mouth every weekend.

dubcnn.com: Now when do you honestly think it's gonna be available in stores?

The album comes out in May, not later than June, for sure. The title is "In Da Trenches" and it's off the muthafuckin' meatrack.

dubcnn.com: You're part of the Riflemen, I had the honor to be at the show ya'll had in L.A. in July. How has the work on this project been going?

Fo sho, the bottom line with the Riflemen, it's about to be a very big project. And it's definitely official, you know me, Prodigy, Havoc, Kurupt, and 40 Glocc. We got Havoc involved as much as Prodigy, but Havoc is with the production. So the artists are me, Prodigy, Kurupt & 40 Glocc and Havoc is overseein' it with the production. It's definitely gonna be big man!

dubcnn.com: Have ya'll found a label to put it out on yet?

Actually, it might come out through the same label I'm signed to. Treacherous.

dubcnn.com: Everything released till now has been vicious, there was a song ya'll performed at the show where Bushwick Bill and Ganxta Ridd dropped verses too. Was that just something for the show or an actual song?

It was actually somethin' that we had for the show... Just to pump up the show and have fun with Mobb and them while they was out here.

dubcnn.com: That song was hot though..

Hell yeah mayne! But we ain't got that shit recorded... But he got some shit just as hot, we hookin' the shit up right now. But the thing was, we just gettin' everybody's situation straight so we can free up everybody so they able to do the album. Because it ain't like we talkin' about somethin' that ain't happenin'! The Riflemen is official like a referee whistle. Period. And we finna hit they ass big this year. The album dropping, all hell is gonna break loose. And alotta people don't wanna see it happen! You know them Rifles is cocked and loaded, and can't nobody really compete with us. If muthafuckas give us that bread and make it happen, we gonna be one of the biggest groups in the game for sure. If not THE biggest. I'll say it like this, me & Kurupt alone, will shit on anything moving.

dubcnn.com: Will we see you working with other San Diego artists such as Mitchy, Cricet, I Rocc, Complex, Bay Loc, Ecay?

Man I don't fuck wit nobody but my nigga C-Hecc. My nigga C-Hecc is my lil homie from my hood and that's who I fuck wit on that rap shit. He spittin' that shit, he comin' wit it! As far as Mitchy Slick, I don't fuck wit Mitchy Slick. I don't get down with that nigga. I don't fuck wit dude. I don't fuck wit Cricet either. I don't fuck with Ecay. I don't fuck with Bay Loc either, we cool, long spoon type shit, but I fuck wit my real ones man, keep it hood man. Period.

dubcnn.com: There was a rumour you got shot this past summer down south in Texas I believe... Can you clear that up?

Man, if I got shot in Texas, I'd still be out in Texas shootin' up shit! Ain't nobody finna do shit to me nigga! Man, man, I walk with a armor man, that a muthafucka can't explain man. Only muthafucka that hurt me in Texas is me. I was fuckin' high, faded, I was in my subliminal thinkin' havin' a ball. And I fuckin' tripped down some muthafuckin' stairs in a thunderstorm. And from that I got shot, my boy got killed, I jumped out a window and all kinds of other shit. But it's more to the story than I can tell you right now, because it's like, I'ma bring all of that shit to life when it's the right time. Feel what I'm sayin?

When it's the right time, I'ma bring all that shit to life, because it's gonna be real deep. And alotta muthafuckas ain't on my level on some subliminal thinkin' type shit. But when it's the right time, I'll let it be known what really happened. But I can tell you this much, it damn sho wasn't no other muthafuckas involved, no muthafuckas shootin' at me, no muthafuckas fightin' me, no muthafuckas even around me! The only muthafucka that coulda hurt me was me.

dubcnn.com: When I last interviewed you, you mentioned a group album in the works with you, CJ Mac, WC and C-Bo I think. Whatever happened to that?

Man, you know man, these muthafuckin' riders man. These muthafuckin' gangbangers and these hoodsters man. Man! Niggaz gotta stay they ass outta jail first! Before we can put a album out, you know what I mean? Including me! *laughs* So you know, it ain't like it can't happen man. But right now, all I'm focused on is my solo project and the Riflemen project because it's official like a referee whistle. And everybody waitin' for that project! We done kicked up dust already, we done did a couple shows together and people see that it's really happening, and I also been hearing on peoples lil websites and shit that we wasn't really a group and all that bullshit, but now, huh, we finna show the world what the business is! Everybody runnin' they mouth like it wasn't real!

dubcnn.com: Will we see Shermstick part 4?

Maaan, I got a Shermstick song done with Kurupt right now, that muthafucka is off the hook man! But I don't know man. I try to make these songs, Shermstick and shit, and when I make a song, and I see niggaz in the streets, it be muthafuckas really smokin' that shit just because of the song I made! And I don't wanna put that out there like that, I don't want muthafuckas... I made the song, Shermstick, for my new album, but the thing is, I might not use it because everytime I put this record out, and I see cats in the streets, these muthafuckas be really off that shit! When they come and give me my props and be like "Yeah Jayo man we love you, let's smoke a stick!" I'm like "Comon cuzz! I don't smoke sherm!!!!" I hit that shit 10 years ago homie and made a song about it and that was it! It's a new day and age and I don't wanna fuckin' make another song about sherm. I already made the muthafucka with me and Kurupt, but I don't know if I'ma put it out because muthafuckas actually listen to that song and they start feelin' it, and they wanna go get a shermstick and go listen to that song! Because that's the effect that I'ma have on it! I'ma put it down! The shit is banging! But I don't wanna lead muthafuckas to that, you know what I mean?

dubcnn.com: What do you think of Game's huge success in the last months?

I think that's great because it don't do nothin' but open up doors for everybody else trying to do their thang!

dubcnn.com: Will we see you working with him?

Fo sho dogg, fo sho. I been to Game's hood, we did a song for his mixtape, but it was just twenty muthafuckas excited trying to rap on it! So it didn't really do shit, but I done been over there with Game and did shit. We hood. I'm glad the nigga blew up cause it don't do nothin' but open up doors for other muthafuckas out here.

dubcnn.com: Can you give us your view on the Tray Deee case? He got sentenced to 8 years...

Man, I had just holla'd at Tray Deee right before he had gotten sentenced. I spoke to him on the phone, and it's like, throughout all these years, me and Tray Deee always been cool, because the thing about Tray Deee is, if I wanna go to Tray Deee's house and we got a problem, and I wanna chunk'em, he gonna give me the fade! And that's what I like about a nigga, if we got a problem and I wanna hit up cuzz like "we need to get down" or whatever, and you bitch up like "oh nah" whoo whoo, I can't get down like that! But as far as me and Tray Deee, that's been my dogg even when the beef was going on. And he was the one that was gone put me and Snoop back together to squash that bullshit! And I was with him and he talked to Snoop on the phone, and when Snoop got back from Chicago, we was supposed to meet up with him and get this shit behind us. But before that could happen, him and Tray Deee fell out. You know what I mean?

So, shit works in mysterious ways mayne, but like I said man, the bottom line man, I'm back, I'm ready to have fun, I'm ready to get my muthafuckin' money, I got my real estate cracking, I'm owning property, I'm having fun in life, I got a major deal cracking! I'm not here to start shit with nobody I'm not here to be bullshitting. Bottom line, only muthafucka I wanna whoop on, is that nigga Daz. I just wanna beat up Daz like this shit a game.

dubcnn.com: So you don't see yourself squashing the shit with Daz?

I mean the nigga is a bitch. He not the typa nigga that be like "Okay, if we got a problem, let's come to the table, and get 'em up nigga! Chunk'em!" And after that we can do a song! After that! That's the typa nigga I am! If I got a problem with Daz, I'll say "Look Daz, let's got chunk'em, and after that we can go do a song together. And I'll never make another record about you, and you don't make another record about me. But only a real nigga gone do that! A muthafucka wit no heart ain't gonna swing, or punch or nothin! He gonna talk about a nigga from 3,000 miles away for the rest of his life! We here in these streets! The Long Beach car is about to get wit me and Short Cuzz and make it official that he ain't even welcomed in Long Beach! And he's the main one, keeping this bullshit up, keeping everybody separated on the West Coast cause he talks about everybody! That's like me saying "Oh cause Warren G rap with Snoop, I'ma diss Warren G!" I don't get down like that homie!

If I'm cool wit Warren G, I'm cool with Warren G regardless of what me and this nigga Snoop go through. You know? And when I had the problem with Snoop, me and Tray Deee hooked up, he called Snoop on the 2way he was like "Jayo tryna holla to get this bullshit behind so we can get back to making these hits". And Snoop was like "Nigga this Crip love, when I get back from Chicago, come to the pad and we gone make this shit happen!".

dubcnn.com: And it never happened huh..

Before it could go down, Tray Deee and Snoop got into it, and that was it!

dubcnn.com: Will you be working with Crooked I or Sly Boogy?

Yeah! My album is finished, but I got a couple different songs to make. And one of the songs is featuring me, Crooked I and my nigga Spider that's down with G-Unit. It's gonna be crazy man, a muthafucka just trying to have fun with this shit, and like I said, the only muthafuckin' problem I got is that nigga that's runnin' his mouth. I got a problem with Daz, I'ma beat his ass.

And I got a problem with fake gangsta rappers. People that were HipHop backpack rappers trying to convert to what we do. Disrespecting it. I'm gonna go ahead and serve them too. And you know who I'm talkin' about!

dubcnn.com: ...

The Weak Arm Wobbly! *laughs* Weak Arm Wobbly! Yeah! Weak Arm Wobbly! On that mixtape, everybody gotta go. Strong Arm, or whatever they call theyselves, they gotta go. Ain't no Steady in they gang. It's not no gang. Used to be backpack rappers now you wanna be gangsta you wearin' khakis in your fuckin' pictures, and you goin' to shootin' ranges and shit. But ya'll gonna be hearing about this shit. AND YOU RAPPIN' WIT MY MUTHAFUCKIN' ENEMY MITCHY SLICK! FUCK MITCHY SLICK! PUT THAT ON THE INTERNET!

Tell them I said FUCK MITCHY SLICK, and FUCK STRONG ARM STEADY GANG. And Xzibit don't know the rules to this game, he over there fuckin' wit Mitchy Slick. That ain't the business! And that nigga wack anyway, so I'm not trippin' off his skills or none of that cause he ain't got none! But nigga this hood man. Fuck that. He gone go rap with my enemy, this is where the Mitchy Slick shit comes in at. Where muthafuckas get on they lil punk ass DVD's and say that Mitchy Slick is the hardest nigga comin' outta Dago! LIKE I DON'T EXIST! LIKE I AIN'T BEEN MAKIN' PLATINUM HITS, FUCKIN' PUTTIN' IT DOWN FOR THIS MUTHAFUCKA FOR THE LAST 10-12 YEARS? LIKE I DON'T EXIST WHEN XZIBIT WAS CHASIN' ME DOWN AT POWER106 TO DO A RECORD WITH HIS ASS! You know what I mean? And then he gone go rap with my enemy like it's cool! All them niggaz gotta go!

AND THAT PINK ASS ALBINO THEY RAP WITH! THAT PINK ASS ALBINO THEY RAP WITH, KRONDON WHATEVER THE FUCK HIS NAME IS! Nah'mean? Feel me?? This muthafucka used to actually work for my street team, and I nutted up on him cause he was puttin' my shit out like he was doin' a East Coast artist! So you gone act like you don't know me muthafucka? And say some other nigga the hardest nigga comin' outta Dago? Like I don't exist? You got me fucked up! And I'm finna shut ya'll crew down! Period! So since you say that nigga the hardest outta Dago, I'm finna shut ALL YA'LL DOWN! Ya'll wanna talk that broke shit? I got 100,000 RIGHT NOW to battle the whole Strong Arm Steady gang BY MYSELF, Xzibit included. And it don't gotta be no violence, nothing. Winner takes all. Put that on the internet! Mitchy Slick ain't got any kind of way to fuck wit Jayo Felony! Xzibit put your bitch ass in the click too, and I'ma destroy ALL YOU NIGGAZ AT ONCE. BY MYSELF. Without my Rifles. Nigga! Without Kurupt and Mobb Deep and them behind me, nigga! By myself. Just like I served Daz and made that nigga shut his website down for 24hours and appologize to his fans. Nah'mean? You know??

God put me here to be a hoodsta man and be a gangsta rapper. And that's what I'ma do. So if a muthafucka ain't real with it, I'm riding on your ass! Period. And Xzibit and them, you not no muthafuckin' gangstas. Keep pimping muthafuckas rides. And keep the fucking gangster out your mouth. I'm gonna destroy all of ya'll. WEAK ARM WOBBLY! Is it Strong Arm Steady or Weak Arm Wobbly? *rapping* You muthafuckas talkin' that broke shit, let's get one thing clear/Put up 100,000, run through you niggaz like diarrhea! I'm here! Muthafuckas! And it's going down.............! And that's from my mixtape called "Fuck Ya'll Vol.1". Or "F Ya'll Vol. 1" for the muthafuckin' commercial, muthafucka! *laughs*

And I'm havin' fun with it and I don't give a fuck! And I got my Rifles in the back seat for that pink albino that said Mitchy Slick is the hardest nigga outta Dago like I don't exist! Nigga! It's 3 million people outta San Diego and it ain't one muthafucka that can rap better than me. Period. And I ain't just talkin' about San Diego, I'm the BEST on the West Coast. Period. AND The East Coast. Nigga! I'm goin' all out! I'm finna go to New York and serve every cypher, every circle, I don't give a SHIT! Yeah! I'm finna take my shit to New York where real MC's go! If you ain't a real MC you can't go to New York, your ass'll get boo'ed. Your ass'll get dissed. Your ass'll get served. I'm goin' out there and light they ass up! From a West Coast standpoint. But I had fun talkin' to ya man! I gotta get back to work and finish doin' these skits for the mixtape man! That muthafucka finna come out like 2 days from now!

dubcnn.com: Aight, I got one more though, what happened to your DVD?

You mean the Crip Hop?

dubcnn.com: Yeah!

We still got it man. I'm just gettin' my shit together man as far as my business so anything I put up has money behind it and the shit is right. Because without the money and the power, this shit is all for nothin'. And another thing that I wanna explain to you, is that I wasn't gonna come back into the game, if I wasn't comin' back with a big impact. And the big impact is gonna be my new album and the Riflemen album. And I'm gonna be able to do what the fuck I wanna do. Finally. And that's the business. And that Crip Hop shit is hot, it's gonna come with a soundtrack on it and everything. But right now that muthafuckin' In Da Trenches finna hittem hard, and I got the Riflemen comin' out a couple months after that, and we got a movie comin' out for the Riflemen project. So we finna heat these streets up man! On the real!

dubcnn.com: Alright man, that's about it, good lookin' on answerin' all the questions!

Fo sho mayne, Dubcnn mayne, keep it hood wit ya boy One Shot Kill, and keep that shit swarmed up over there mayne. Holla at ya boy mayne! And make it big for ya boy man!

dubcnn.com: You know how I do it!

On the real! Tell the muthafuckas I'm back with a vengeance and I don't give a shit! *laughs* Alright Nima!

dubcnn.com: Stay up!

You too. Gone.
