 After a long hiatus, West Coast architect Kokane aka Mr. Kane aka Jerry B. Long is returning to the music game on June 1st with his upcoming solo project "Gimme All Mine". The album will be dropping via his own Bud E Boy Records in conjunction with Bonzi/Fontana, and the promo campagin is in full effect already, as you can see by the banners on here and the forums.
A few weeks back we dropped the video to the first single off the album, which was called "Twilight Zone". Incase you haven't seen it yet, make sure to check it out as Kokane spits realness about the state of the West Coast.
Today we received the second visual off the album, another Dah Dah (D.Baker) video straight out of the bakery. This is another Tha Chill (Above The Law) produced track, called "Killinger Fields". Here is what Kokane had to say about the track:
"This song is a reflection of the social ills of society and the world. I wanted to touch on this subject matter, because it's needed in the world today. Everybody ain't got diamonds, money and bitches, it seems like music today is geared towards demoralizing God like principles and family structure. Not to judge anyone because I am a work in progress myself, but this video is the truth and the truth will set you free. My advice to the world is don't be playing in them Killing Fields! So far in the build up to the release of his newest project Cali Dreamz he has provided fans with a few songs from the mixtape to hold them over until the full project is unveiled. Those afforementioned songs have included; Midnight & U (Ft. Sly Boogy & Konflict), Crazy 4 U, How Gangstas Live (Ft. Konflict) & In Da Club (Featuring KK).

 The name Nufsed might ring a bell to some Dubcnn readers, as he's fresh off releasing his debut album "The Prospect". Nufsed and his producer Rick Habana teamed up for a collaborative effort and what came out is an impressive piece of independent work, as they approached the music from a different perspective than most of today's mainstream music. On top of Nufsed's bars and Rick Habana's production, you will also get to hear guest appearances from Suga Free, 2nd II None, Fatal of The Outlawz and AZ.
"Cali Conference" was the debut single and set the tone for the rest of the album. The feel good track opened many doors as it was picked up by radio stations and received a good amount of spins prior to the album release. Word about Nufsed got around and the Los Angeles rapper even had the chance to open for DJ Quik at "Quik's Groove" at the Key Club.
Today we got a brand new track from Nufsed called "Pacific Dreams (Remix)", for which he linked back up with Suga Free for a guest verse. The hook was handled by Chuckey, who is best known for his guest appearances on DJ Quik's "Under Tha Influence" album. The song was once again produced by Rick Habana and it will be featured on their upcoming project "The Remixes".

 Here's a new track that just leaked from Game featuring K-Young called "Diamonds". No word on the production credits, but the beat was previously used for Jayo Felony's song "On Top Of Your Forehead", which dropped earlier this year. It would be interesting to know if this was used intentionally or if somebody pulled it out behind the back. Wouldn't expect it to end up on any project, possibly on Game's upcoming "Gangsta Grillz" mixtape, if even that.

Fresh off his XXL cover feature, Watts Finest Jay Rock is riding the wave and demonstrating why he's one of the top 10 for '10. Earlier this month, he dropped his collaboration with Rick Ross, "Finest Hour", which was produced by J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League (who never fail to impress by the way).

The two songs we have for you today are "Love Drunk", which leaked this week with DJ tags, as well as "Lay You Down". As "Love Drunk" leaked, there is a possibility that it won't end up on the EP.

 Today marks the release day of one of the most anticipated West Coast albums, Brotha Lynch Hung's follow up to 2003's "Lynch By Inch", "Dinner And A Movie". The hype for the album reached an all time high after he officially signed to Tech N9ne's indepenent powerhouse, Strange Music.
The album is out today, March 23rd, and features the Lynch's Strange Music family (Tech N9ne, Krizz Kaliko), the DPG family (Snoop Dogg, Daz Dillinger & Kurupt) and of course Siccmade affiliates First Degree The D.E., G-Macc, Don Rob, C-Lim, Tallcann G).
The album sounds super crisp, thanks to the amazing mastering at the Strange Music studios. Today, a third video was released, after the visuals to "Meat" and "I Plotted (My Next Murder)" were released a few weeks ago.  Rapper/actor OG Cuicide is no new face to the music game known for his 1996 album "Final Exit". Then in 2000 with his overseas smash "Wonder Why" album with executive entertainment CEO Big Jess and Droopy ;who are now CEO of Cidalgang. OG Cuicide was behind the scenes pushing his label, working with artists helping them create a buzz for they self.
Now the Compton OG Cuicide has knocked the dust off his ink pen, back in the studio with his new album "Tears Of A Guillotine"; along with starring in two up coming films called "Death By Association" and "Ten Grand".
OG Cuicide born July 30, 1969. Eighteen months after birth he was adopted by Mr. & Mrs. Price; where he grew up a problem child; he was asked to leave at the age of fifteen with nowhere to go but the streets. He had to get his the best way he could, so crime became a bigger part of his life.
Robbery became his best friend and hanging with street professors, he was looked upon as a young "G" jackin' and stealin', sleeping wherever he could.
Cuicide had help from the homies, but the homies could only do so much for him. After living in the rain and being homeless for so long. Life seemed to have put him in the mode where he lost it all on December 31, 1991, he almost died of attempted suicide. But with the good blessing from God he was removed from life support and woke up from a coma.
He's still in the streets of Compton with a message for the world about life. "It's deeper than a bad dream and far worse than a nightmare and a hospital ain't the only thing with patients"..

A quick Google or Bing search will produce hundreds of hits. Singles, mixtapes, videos, etcetera Bless and his team are buzzing. The bossman is taking his brand international with a European distribution deal for his DVD, B.L.O.C.K. Report.
As Bless takes his DVD international, he also just released Block Exchange’s LP The Hierarchy of the Street on March 15. The brother is staying busy, but let him tell you.

 Since his departure from Aftermath in early January, it has been quiet around Bishop Lamont. That's because he's been working! Check out the new press release below about his latest projects with John Mayer and Samuel L. Jackson.
Bishop Lamont knows Drama. But that’s a good thing when it’s Drama from Rob Dyrdek’s hit MTV show “Fantasy Factory.”
“Drama did it — he’s a mega-producer who doesn’t get enough credit for his talent,” Bishop says as he listens to “Gone,” a new song featuring John Mayer that he cut on a recent stop by the Fantasy Factory. “E. Sanchez hooked it up and I just ran with it. I did it for the music, I just felt it, related to it and identified with what John was singing about. And, straight-up, John may have got controversial in a magazine interview but the dude’s no racist ... he was just bein’ crazy, damn, take a joke.”
Lamont stars in, and is a producer of, the upcoming feature “Fahrenheit 513” with Damion Whitaker, Bokeem Woodbine, Christian Audigier and Tom Sizemore, and he also did a track for a documentary on the Angola 3 that Samuel L. Jackson recently narrated, entitled “Land of the Free.”
“It’s a travesty that is a very, very deep cause for me,” Lamont says about the case of three innocent men, Herman Wallace, Albert Woodfox and Robert King, held in solitary confinement for more than three decades for trying to speak out against inhumane treatment and racial segregation. Lamont has befriended King, who was released in 2001, while Wallace and Woodfox remain in solitary. “It pained me that all I was able to contribute personally was a song — I want to do a whole lot more than that. I recently met with (fellow activist and entertainer) Harry Belefonte and we have a lot of work to do together.”
“My business manager, Damizza, had been trying to introduce me to Dave Stewart (of Eurhythmics fame), who is composing the score for both films I’m involved with.” Bishop continued. “Dave introduced me to his artist Nadirah X. She’s one of the most talented people I’ve ever met. She just blew me away; her music — her soul — pours through the speakers. I just heard her in my head on the John Mayor song. She felt it too — felt what I was saying in the song with my verses. I asked her to get on it and before we know it Dave’s stringin’ up his guitar ... it’s incredible. He played an outta-this-world solo using his diamond ring as a slide. I’d never seen, or heard, anything like it.”
