Even if he's not, lets say he reaches Dikembe Mutombo's level of play (in Dikembe's prime, of course)...He's still gunna mean a whole lot ot the Lakers. I mean, he'll probably never be as great as Shaq, but he CAN be pretty damn close if he excels...I mean, he's barely 18 and already dunking on Shaq, pulling moves on him most starting centers in the league DREAM of doing. Imagine what he's gunna be doing in his prime...The way he just blocks shots with so much ease has also impressed me. Reminds me of how Mutombo looked like on the defensive end...I'm starting to believe that drafting Bynum will really pay off, hell, in 10 years he might be known as the best pick out of the 2005 class. Shaq always dunks like that on people, it's a move he does when his opponent is facing the rim under the basket. But how many 18 year olds can say they faked out Shaq on a drop step and dunkd on him, and the fact that it was a recovery dunk makes it that much sweeter...You know what I mean...Mark my words, Bynum will mean a lot for the Lakers...PeACe

You're fuckin' crazy, Shaq's was a cheap shot dunk, Bynum was already facing forward under the rim...Bynum actually pulled a move on Shaq, faked him out (did you see how Shaq fell forward? LOL) and then dunked on him...That, to me at least, was the much sweeter dunk.

Y'all didn't get the point. Obviously Shaq had the most powerful move: he is more powerful! Shaq is phisically on another planet if compared to the kid. But Bynum is still 18 years old, c'mon! You gotta be kidding me if you really are trying to compare them now. Andrew still gotta work on his upper body, adding some muscles and power. The things you gotta see now to judge him are his footwork (and he schooled Shaq with that McHale move), his baby hook (and he's hitting them) his defensive effort (and he ranks #7 in the NBA in Blocks Per 48 Minutes) and expecially his attitude. And this move showed he got balls.
