A crew member of the ferry that sank Friday in the Red Sea said Sunday water used to extinguish a fire aboard caused the ship to list(lean over) in heavy winds.

The fucked up thing is most of these people are labour force that had their money with them to give to their families,so now the poorest people in one of the poorest countries don't have any kind of income

egypt is far from the poorest country in the world. but that just made a bad situation worse.. they work long hours on the nile in egypt...

most the labourers would be farmers... most the farms run along the nile.

most of labours were coming from saudi arabia they weren't farmers,most would have worked in construction.the ship sank between egypt and saudi arabia
