nissan is a beast, their old 240s and 300s, now they got the maxima and 350z, it shits all over toyota and honda

I agree, Civics will drive until the god damn wheels come off of it, I woudl do that and save for a new one - that way you know where it's coming from, you won't get sucked into expensive repairs...

I'm always weary of trading in something you know for a unknown used, though Explorers do hold their driving value well = last a long time. More a question fo where your'e going to get it from I guess...
