Little Brother In-Store/Sacramento Concert

What up folks? Just got back from a Little Brother in-store here in Sac. They were at Dimple Records on Arden for anyone familiar with the area. Not a lot of people showed up, but it was cool. Phonte and Big Pooh signed my copy of The Minstrel Show on vinyl and they also signed a poster along with Joe Scudda and Big Dho from the Justus League. I got my picture taken with all four too. I'm going to the show here tonight, which should be cool. I was talking to their promoter Will for a minute before Little Brother showed up and he was telling me about the tour so far. Rumor is that Dilated Peoples might be their special guest, but it is just a rumor.

I also talked to Joe Scudda and he said his album should be out late 2006/early 2007. He said he's already done tracks with 9th Wonder, Khrysis, Jake One, Pete Rock and some dudes from around the way I haven't heard of. He mentioned he's trying to get a track from Primo, but said dude is MIA. I guess you can do that when you have the rep of Primo.

Will, the promoter, also said that Atlantic is looking to release a single of a Little Brother freestyle they did on the radio in Houston the Tuesday before All-Star Weekend. I guess the next night the DJs were still playing the freestyle so Atlantic is trying to get licensing to release it.

Just a little heads up on what's going on with Little Brother and the Justus League. Anyway, check the pics below I got from the signing and the stuff I got signed.

I bought their CD "The Minstrel Show" yesterday.As a matter of fact I'm listening to it right now, all I gotta say is I can't believe I slept on their music.People who loved Common's "Be" need to check "The Minstrel Show" cause it's definately better.

Little Brother absolutely killed the show last night. Hard to hear at times, but I was standing right in front of the speakers. I got a lot of pictures, a few of them are below, and a couple video clips. I'll post links to the vids as soon as I get them hosted. If you get the chance go check Little Brother out live. Dilated Peoples didn't show, but I assumed they wouldn't.
