Lost In Translation
« on: April 16, 2006, 05:19:07 AM »
I've finally watched it yesterday after my brother kept telling me how good this movie really is. And indeed...truth be told, Bill Murray and Scarlett Johannson put down some very good acting performances. Murray's humour in the movie is hilarious...
And the scene at the end (where Murray and Johannson kiss each other) was not even in the script: it happened "naturally", lol. That's nice to know.
Written AND directed by Sofia Coppola btw...

Definitely worth my time.

On a side note...I watched "In Good Company" last week and that's another movie I recommend. It stars Scarlett Johannson, Dennis Quaid  and Topher Grace (of That 70's Show fame). Great movie!

I still havent seen Lost In Translation, but I hear nothing but good things. As long as Soffia Coppola stays behind the camera, I got no beef with her.

In Good Company is great too.

^^^^Hehe, yeah...Sofia is not exactly eyecandy huh?
Anyway, Lost In Translation is a must-see. They've shot the movie in 27 days btw...that's crazy. And Scarlett looks mighty fine as usual in the film...that alone should be a reason to watch it.
