I just went to this link: http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php  --> I typed in the YouTube URL of a video I want to download, clicked on the "download" button, but then it says "error" underneath the little box where it says "download".

Can anyone help me out?

www.savetube.com ---> Easiest way to d/l vids from YouTube. It doesn't always work, so you might have to re-try it a few times though...
