i like the beatles... "Yesterday" is my song.  i like the simplicity of it.  

i think in order to appreciate today's music you gotta have a love for the old shit too.

and you know what's funny... if you did a poll or sumpin you'd find that a lot rappers don't even primarily listen to other rap music.  that's sumpin i'm beginning to learn.  i think i'll always have a 2pac cd in my player first and foremost but other than that... as a rapper listenin to other rappers constantly can fuck your shit up.  in a way i'm like snoop with my listening... i put in some Isley Brothers or O'Jays and listen to that a lot or some Alicia Keys... but i'm kinda gettin tired of a lot of the rap that comes out... i mean i'll always stay on top of it and have all the newest shit the day it comes out cause rap is my first love but then i'll prolly just go back to some old shit and focus on my own shit...

but to get back on topic... the beatles are worth respectin and giving a listen to every once in  a while
