Ya know what the problem is with shit like that?  Just as you claim Bush is not acting like a conservative, a Democrat could just as easily say those cats weren't acting like liberals.  How often do you hear that?  "Bush is selling out to the Democrats."  "Clinton sold out to the Republicans."  Muh'fuckas can't catch a break now, can they?

On the other hand, maybe you should consider this...ALL American politicians, even so-called conservatives, are technically "liberals", IMO.  The term "liberal" means somebody who believes in capitalism and democracy...I don't know a single Democrat OR Republican that's against that.  Shit, when I was in college, all of my professors referred to the tide of democratization in the post Cold War era as a "neo-liberal" movement.  Are YOU against capitalism and democracy?

Lincoln:
Yeah I understand what you're saying, and I was a bit harsh in what I said in the heat of the conversation.

In my opinion words like conservative and liberal are meaningless because there's not just the two. There's neo-lib and neo-cons, libertarians, socialist, etc.... It all comes down to specific policy. Eg. I just voted for a party in my country which I didn't agree with all the policies, and that's ok because no party is all things to all people. Some aspects might be liberal, conservative, etc.. and they're just words.

Yeah, those two words are meaningless, and they've been fucked with a lot.  The media has come to associate "conservative" with right-winger and "liberal" with left-winger - there's some truth in the way certain politicians behave, but it ain't the full story.
