Theres too many duos out there, past & present.

It really depends on what style & time period y'all talkin bout.

East Coast
Guru & DJ Premier (Gangstarr)
Eric B & Rakim
Havok & Prodigy (Mobb Deep)
Ghostface Killer & Raekwon The Chef
Method Man & Redman
Erick Sermon & Parrish Smith (EPMD)

West Coast
Snoop Dogg (aka Snoop Doggy Dogg) & Dr.Dre
Daz Dillinger (aka Dat Nigga Daz) & Kurupt (aka Kurupt Tha Kingpin) (Tha Dogg Pound aka D.P.G.)

Other
Big Boi & Andre (Outkast)

Dre and Rakim aren't the greatest, because I've never heard them.  Dre better improve his subject matter if he wants to even be close.

I'd say Dre & Snoop (I know, i'm a hypocrite) were the greatest, just because their chemistry is unbelievable, and they were so funky it was awesome.

Second place is Outkast.

The EPMD

[L.O.C.]

bad azz and techniec ain't bad together, but they haven't worked together in ages.  Anyone seen the Mack 10 movie Thicker Than Water?  They were both in the movie and on the soundtrack.

Hands down, Outkast.  They are the most creative duo to come along, ever!  They re-wrote the meaning of duo.  No one can touch them, period!  Amazing group.
