Has anyone ever known a Scientologist personally.  Like a friend or relative?

from what ive heard its like a cult.  And the religion was based off a science fiction novel written in the 40's i think.  And the more money you spend the higher your ranking is.  And the reason so many celebs join is b/c it promises to cure homosexuality.

LOL. I don't think anyone will ever understand this "religion"...Shit, I wouldn't be surprised if the members themselves couldn't understand it.

Before Scientology I was extremely shy. I had a big problem even beginning a conversation with someone. I had a lot of trouble making new friends and I was generally an introverted person.

Scientology completely handled this. I have lost my fear of communicating and can talk to people and make friends easily.

I am able to work out problems until all parties are happy. Scientology has made parenting really fun. My daughter grew up in Scientology, she is able to communicate, stays away from drugs and other teen insanities and she and I have a great relationship.

Scientology has given a sense of purpose to my life.

They don't believe in psychology and psychiatric drugs eventhough many people benefit from both.
