cus that shit aint right they're not from LA county they're from Orange County therefore have no business calling them self the LA Angeles. Its like one day the Dodger decide to call them selfs the Anaheim Dodger of Los Angeles thats fuckin stupid.

To me, the name is a smack in the face to the dodgers, kinda like saying "we're the best team around theses parts, we're even so good we're gonna jack part of your name and take over your part of town"
It makes the rivalry better imo

Nah man...Angels is Orange County's team. No one in LA gave 2 shits about the Angels until 2002. Before then we were treated like the Clippers. I don't like the name for that reason. I feel the name change kinda disrespects the local Orange County fanbase.
Personally I don't really care about smacking the face of the Dodgers...I'm indifferent to them. Our rivalries are with teams like the A's, Mariners, Yankees, etc.

The name change will give the Angels more revenue and more fans. L.A is still big enough for both teams, there's still enough left for even a third baseball team
