Many people are finding it strange that WWE would release someone due to their sick child as Ashley could have asked for a leave of absence instead of a release. Ashley had only made the odd one or two appearances since the Rolling Stone magazine revealed she previously worked as a high-paid escort. There is a good chance that Ashley's release was not just due to her daughter's health.
