I know.  I'm kind of looking forward to that, but really, shouldn't they have just done that this year, rather than have John Cena vs. the Miz?

Yeah.  I agree they would have had to start the whole angle much earlier and hyped it, but what I mean is, wouldn't that have been a more exciting match to have put on for this year's Wrestlemania than Cena vs. Miz?  I guess I'm just not that crazy about The Miz as a character.  He's an alright heel I guess, but to me he's a mid-card performer, at best.

Its not his fault the match sucked. Cena's no prize in the ring. Anyway the draw was that it was a title match. Bad scripting I guess?

Yeah, I have to agree.  Cena's in-ring ability is pretty limited too.

I can't remember the last stand out matches Cena was involved in. I think the one he had on Raw with HBK and a ladder match with Edge are what come to mind, but they did all the heavy lifting to make Cena look good.

I saw him in January by LAX. Dude was signing a crap load of autographs so I didn't talk to him or bug him. Seemed like a really nice guy. Tall as hell too.

Its too bad since he had a couple of year left in him, but at least he'll be able to live out the rest of his life in a productive manner. I doubt WWE will leave him out to dry too.

Yeah.  It would be cool if WWE offered him some kind of non-wrestling position with the company.  Not sure if that's something he'd want to do or not, but it would be cool of them to offer.

Mason Ryan looks like a mix now of Batista & Wade Barrett with the hairstyle. They should change his name to Dave Barrett...or Wade Batista.

Edge retiring just topped off a crappy day. He's one of my (and I'm sure most folks') favourite wrestlers. Its a major loss as he's one of the guys that truly had that 'it' factor. Selfishly, nobody would want to see him retire. But is for his own health and obviously its best for him to stay alive then to end up being permanently paralyzed or even worse. Its really depressing for the business to see somebody like Edge leave.

I think Edge will go into the HoF when WWE hosts WM in Toronto again...maybe WM29?

Edge has the same problem that made Arn Anderson retire back in the late 90s.

I personally wasn't feeling Edge until he started his Rated R gimmick and ever since I was a fan whether he was a face or a heel. He'll be missed, but hopefully this will make room for Christian to finally shine.

^Link doesn't work but I'm assuming you're talking about the incident where he was all fucked up & was booked for some indy event. That wasn't the reason he didn't attend the HOF, he stated it himself he didn't go cause he knew if went he'd get all fucked up & wanted to stay away from the drugs, alcohol. Well I guess that didn't work lol.
